Extracts from Aberdeen Breviary, Privately Printed 1872.

Extracts from Aberdeen Breviary; The Legends and Commemorative Celebrations of Scottish Saints including St Kentigern, St Thenew, St Servanus, St Columba, St Asaph, St Baldred, St Conwal and St Palladius.

Inscribed in copperplate writing on the first free end paper "Translated and Privately Printed by the Revd Professor Stevenson, University of Edinburgh" - presumably by Professor Stevenson himself.

Hardback - Three quarter leather and marbled paper over boards, scuffing and shelf wear to cover. A good copy overall - spotting to endpapers, but main text is very clean. A scarce version of this book. 1872. Bound by Henderson and Bisset. 48pp.

Dimensions: 250mm high x 176mm wide x 10mm deep.
