First published 1969 and 1973.

Masterworks of Chinese Jade, 92pp

Masterworks of Chinese Jade Supplement, 86pp

Both profusely illustrated with colour plates. Text in Chinese, Japanese and English.

Slipcases are very good. Totally intact but with some shelf wear and indentation marks.

Dimensions:
Each volume in slipcase approx 29cm high x 22cm wide x 1.8cm deep

Important Note:

These volumes proved popular and were reprinted a number of times. We think the content remains unchanged.

The last free end paper carries a Japanese printer's label which indicated the year of printing. For these 2 volumes the first book was printed in 1982 and the supplement in 1980. We have seen way too many of these books being miseleadingly described as first editions without clarifying this. If you require a true first printing ask to see the printer's label. If missing it has probably been removed to make the book appear to be a first printing.
