The Jazz Book Club was a publishing project of Sidgwick & Jackson publishers, from London, which resulted in sixty-six works being published between 1956 to 1967. This volume features 41 pieces of jazz criticism first published in The New Yorker magazine (then revised), and featuring many famous names from the world of jazz.

A very good blue cloth hardback with printed title design to spine. A slight, small mark to front cover, and very light bumping to head and tail of spine. With a near fine original dustjacket, with spine and top edges just a little sunned. Dustjacket flap still has the membership slip attached. Light crease to inside flap. Covered in removable protective plastic. Soundly bound.
Text is bright and clean with some light spotting to edge of text block. A nice example.
